ROLE OF PROBIOTIC IN THE MANAGEMENT AS ANTI- CANCER SUBSTANCES

Breast cancer is the most frequently malignancy among woman, in this study we assessed the anticancer activity of Bifidobacteria probiotic that isolated from three Dannon samples, and diagnosed as Bifidobacterium lactic 1 , 2 and 3, the third isolate could inhibit all test pathogens in agar well diffusion assay in high inhibition zones . So it was chosen for next analysis , partial purification was done to Bifidobacterium lactic bacteriocin and tested against breast cancer cell line .The results showed the proliferation rate of the breast cancer cells under effect of different bacteriocin concentration(0.312ug – 10 ug) after 72 hrs. Exposure was decreased and read in reader system , so anticancer or anti-tumor genes bacteriocin the natural agent of Bifidobacterium has been shown to be an inhibitor of angiogenesis and considered an attractive new strategy for cancer gene therapy .
