ON THE NATURE OF TRANSPOSITION OF CATEGORICAL FORMS OF THE RUSSIAN VERB

The article is devoted to the problem of the transposition of categorical forms of the Russian verb. The article describes the modal-semantic features of particular species-time values, which in the conditions of transposition acquire a figurative meaning. MYTHOLOGEMES IN THE NOVELS OF V. PELEVIN

The paper aims to determine the role of a boundary topos by analysing mythological spatial poetics in postmodernist literature (using V. Pelevin’s prose as an example). Scientific novelty of the research lies in applying the results obtained in the field of folklore studies to postmodern creative work. The re-search findings have shown that V. Pelevin utilises a boundary topos (we analysed the image of the forest, mountain and river) in order to distinguish between reality and irreality and have identified the connection of boundary topoi with thanatological, initiative and onomastic motifs.
