“A RESEARCH PROTOCOL OF AN STUDY ON“PREVALENCE AND IMPACT OF KEGAL EXERCISE ON URINARY INCONTINENCE AND QUALITY OF LIFE AMONG WOMEN IN SELECTED RURAL AREAS OF KARAD TALUKA”

Background: - Urinary incontinence is more common disease in women with several causes and has an effect on their quality of life.As per WHO 200 million women’s with urinary incontinence that is worldwide and in the United States it isabout 10-12 million adults found with urinary incontinence out of them 85% of women’s are affected. Methodology: -The research has been structured as an cross sectional one group pre-test post-test design. The total of 1500 sample will be taken from rural area for study as per inclusion and exclusion criteria. With intervention the period of the study will be 1year. Women with urinary incontinence will be evaluated for impact of Kegel exercise on quality of life and urinary incontinence. Discussion: - This study protocol aim is to evaluate the effect of Kegel exercise on urinary incontinenceand quality of life of women.
