A CRITICAL EVALUATION ON ROAD-INFRASTRUCTURE, ELECTRIFICATION AND SWM IN SPECIFIC MICRO URBAN UNITS OF THE ULB AT JANGIPUR WITHIN THE DISTRICT OF MURSHIDABAD, WB, INDIA

The improved services to be provided by the municipality will have to be rendered on time in accordance with the demand of the citizens. Following the National state level and Municipal Rules, it has achieved the same .Simple and efficient organizational structure and long term innovative financial planning have served the citizen better that have adequate solvency in the Municipality. It has a long historical and renaissance back ground and ways to go into the premising future. The researcher here has tried to throw focus upon the road infrastructure electrification and solid waste management of the urban local body. With the help of cartographic representations, the primary (obtained through perception studies based on purposive stratified sampling techniques) as well as secondary database are represented to draw the geographically viable inferences.
