Among 45 students of 3rdyrRGNM selected by purposive sampling technique with an objective to assess the knowledge of 3rd RGNM Students before and after STP on neonatal danger signs. Data were collected by using structured knowledge questionnaire on neonatal danger signs and socio demographic data of the students. Data tabulated and analyzed in terms of objectives of the study by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Result :-paired ‘t’ value t 48.153 and p < 0.0001 Hence, H1 is accepted. This indicates gain in knowledge score. Therefore, the STP was effective in improving the knowledge of students. Conclusion :-The study concluded that a STP can make a significant rise in knowledge level of the students.
