ACRIDINE ACT AS ANTICANER AGENT: A REVIEW

Acridines are the heterocyclic ring systems, biologically active molecules and also wonder drug to combat cancer. Many synthetic and natural products are the area of interest of many researchers all over the world. Even though, in last few decades world is going through chemotherapy and various other treatment of cancer. Many synthetic manipulations of acridines and their derivatives are being investigated worldwide for the development of more potent and efficient drugs for the treatment of various diseases such as inflammation, cancer, diabetes, HIV, tuberculosis etc, therefore it is important to gather the earlier information to understand the present status of acridines. Evidence from the literature suggests that the knowledge regarding cancer is still scarce. The present review article mainly focuses on the anticancer activity of acridines and their analogue.
